Mother Jones (one of my favorites!) hired me to shoot a portrait of Josh Tetrick, CEO of the recently launched food technology company, Hampton Creek Foods. They are making plant based products to replace eggs in our diet and mitigate the devastating effects of egg production on our environment, and after as few tastings, I must say they’re doing an incredible job. If you like eating cookie dough, they’ve got the product for you. Check em out!
Josh was seriously down for whatever during the shoot, which culminated in him getting pelted by about a dozen eggs by Hampton Creek employees (behind the scenes video below). We started off with some silly environmental shots, which included liquid nitrogen (!) and finished with some portraits that kind of mimicked the setup from my Garage Door Sessions series. All in all a very fun day and I’m very happy with the outcome.
