At Home with The Reno Rydaz Juggalo Family

In continuing my exploration of extreme fandom, I got a chance to kick it with the Reno Rydaz at the home of crew members Chucky and Desirae in Sparks, NV.  Much thanks to them and all the Rydaz that came out to let me photograph and talk to them about Juggalo culture.

SXSW 2014 for Converse

For the second year in a row, I’ve had the pleasure of covering Converse’s insane lineup  at SXSW in Austin. They sponsor 2 major 4-day events: The Thrasher Death Match and The FADER Fort, both stacked with established and emerging acts,  as well as Converse Rubber Tracks Studios, where local bands record for free every day.  The crew from Converse is incredible to work with and SXSW with them is, without a doubt, the most exhausting and fun week of the year.

Valentines Day 2014: Young Lovers in Mexico City

Currently In: Mexico!

Chiapas, to be exact.  Enjoying San Cristobal de Las Casas and shooting Mujeres de Maiz, a collective of indigenous women food producers and vendors.  Much more to come, but for now here are some poblano peppers being roasted for rellenos and some kind of large squash to be used in a pumpkin pie experiment.  Next stop, Oaxaca to photograph the weavers responsible for the beautiful textiles used by Ilano Design!

Converse Rubber Tracks Studio: Mexico City

I travelled to Mexico City last month to shoot a few days of Converse’s month long Rubber Tracks Studio pop-up there.  It’s always a great time working alongside my favorite video team, Loroto Productions.
